Reelo · the first app from Strata Studio
Name the film
from a single frame.
Hand it a screenshot, a photo of a screen, or a link. Oscar reads the frame, finds the title, and checks where it's playing tonight.
Inside the app
Six screens.
One evening, sorted.
Scroll through the app the way you would use it: catch a frame, get the name, then let Oscar take care of the rest of the night.
A frame catches your eye in any feed. Screenshot it, hand it to Reelo, and Oscar reads it: title, year, where it's playing.
Title, year, ratings, trailer, and where to watch, checked live for your country. Save it, mark it watched, or share it.
Trending, in theaters, releasing soon. A catalogue that reads like a feed, sorted by what you're in the mood for.
Swipe to sort what you're watching: skip it, love it, seen it, save it. Your taste, one card at a time.
Tell Oscar a mood, or roll the dice. He picks tonight's film and shows you a few more to swipe through.
Send the find to a friend as a card. Whoever gets it knows exactly what to watch tonight, and where it came from.
Oscar
The one
doing the looking.
Reelo's owl reads the frame, narrows it down and tells you what he found. He is the app's voice, not a mascot bolted on the side: everything Reelo answers, Oscar answers.
Your screenshot
Where the picture goes.
Reelo needs a server to recognise a frame, so the picture leaves your phone. This is the whole path.
- You pick the image. Your photo library is never scanned. Only the images you choose are ever seen.
- It goes to our server, and on to Google Gemini. That is what does the recognising.
- It is not stored on our servers. It is processed in memory and dropped when the request ends.
- Google does not train on it. It is kept for abuse review for at most 55 days, then deleted.
The whole image is analysed, so crop anything private before you send it.
Questions,
answered.
What is Reelo?
An iPhone app that names the film or series a screenshot came from, then tells you where to watch it. It is the first app Strata Studio is shipping. It is not on the App Store yet; leave your email above and you will get one message the day it is.
What happens to the screenshot I send?
It is sent to our server and on to Google Gemini for analysis. It is not stored on our servers: it is processed in memory and dropped when the request ends. Your photo library is never scanned; only images you pick are seen. Google does not use it to improve products or train models, and keeps it for abuse review for at most 55 days. The whole image is analysed, so crop anything private before sending. Full detail is in the Reelo privacy annex.
Is Reelo free?
Reelo is free to use. Reelo Pro is a subscription: monthly, yearly, or lifetime. There is no free trial, and prices are set per territory and shown in the App Store.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone, on iOS. Reelo is written in Swift and built only for Apple's platforms, so there is no Android version and no web version.
